Terms & Conditions

FEES Payment of all tuition fees are due in advance of the commencement of sessions. Group sessions are to be paid in advance, half termly via bank transfer, cash or cheque. Private 1:1 sessions should be paid, in advance monthly via bank transfer or cash.

CANCELLATION POLICY You may cancel your 1:1 tutoring session with no penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled session where another session day/ time will be offered. If, however, you cancel within 24 hours of the session time, payment is due in full.

If you are unable to attend one of your group tutoring sessions for any reason, payment will be due in full. Each student is given 1 ‘make up’ day at the beginning of each term whereby another session will be offered, should you be unable to attend your regular scheduled class.

Ending the Agreement. Should you wish to end this tutoring agreement, it may be terminated by you no earlier than one full month in advance. In order to terminate your contract with Progressions Tutoring, written notification should be received one full calendar month in advance, otherwise payment for the new term will be payable. All sessions leading up to the cancellation date are liable for payment.

Weather Should the centre be closed due to extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right not to refund any monies paid or invoice as ususal. This is due to safeguarding your child/ren and keeping them safe at all times.

Changes to session day Progressions Tutoring reserves the right to change a child's session should it be deemed that the pupil would flourish within a different group of children. This can only be done with the permission of the parent, in advance of the next session due.

Tutor changes If a tutor is unwell or unable to hold their session for any other reason, we will do everything possible so that the session can continue, therefore finding a suitable tutor to take over. We will only ever cancel a session in extreme circumstances or where a suitable tutor cannot be found in time for the lesson to go ahead.

Late Pick up Please note that it is an expectation for children to be collected promptly at the end of their lesson and therefore any parent/ guardian collecting their child, 5 or more minutes late, on two or more occasions will incur a £1 per minute fine. Payable before the commencement of the next session.
